Joining Collar Stitches: With wrong sides held together, K the first st from each collar half together, * K next st from each needle together and bind off; rep from * across.
SLEEVES: Cast on 18 (18, 20, 20, 20) sts. K 7 rows. Work in St st, beg P row, shaping sides by inc 1 st each end of 12 (12, 12, 12, 8)th row, then every 10 (8, 6, 6, 6)th row until there are 24 (26, 28, 30, 32) sts. Work even until 18” from beg, end P row.
Shape Cap: Bind off 2 (2, 3, 3, 4) sts at beg of next 2 rows. Work 2 (4, 4, 4, 4) rows even. Dec 1 st each end of next 6 (7, 7, 7, 7) K rows. Dec 1 st each end of next P row. Bind off rem 6 (6, 6, 8, 8) sts.
FINISHING: Sew shoulder seams. Place center of collar seam at center back neck and sew collar in place. Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves. Sew buttons to left band opposite buttonholes.
