SPECIAL ABBREVIATION: V-st = (dc, ch 1, dc) all in st specified.
SLEEVE (Make 2): Ch 31 (34, 37, 40). Row 1 (Right Side): Dc in 4th ch from hook and
in each ch across; turn – 29 (32, 35, 38) sts. Row 2: Ch 3, skip first 2 dc, V-st in next dc,
* skip next 2 dc, V-st in next dc; rep from * to last 2 sts; skip
next dc, dc in top of ch-3; turn. Shape sides as follows: Row 3: Ch 3, dc in first dc, dc in each dc and
ch-1 sp to last st; 2 dc in top of ch-3; turn – 2 sts increased. Row 4: Ch 3, skip first dc, dc in next dc, skip

necessary at end of rnd; join. Rnds 2 and 3: Work same as Rnds 2 and 3 of Neck
Ruffle.
Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Inc (increase) = K in front loop and back loop of same
stitch.
SLEEVE (Make 2): Cast on 38 (42, 46) sts. Work
in St st, beg K row, shaping sides by inc 1 st each end of 7th row,
then every 8th row until there are 66 (70, 74) sts. Work even until
16 1/2 (17, 17 1/2)" from beg. Place marker at each end of
last row. Work even until 8 (8 1/2, 9)" above markers. Bind
off.
Sleeve Ruffle: With right side facing, pick up
and K38 (42, 46) sts across lower edge. Purl 1 row. Next Row: K1, * yo, K1; rep from * across –
75 (83, 91) sts. Next Row: Inc in first st, * K next st (the yo),
inc in next st; rep from * across – 113 (125, 137) sts.
Bind off as follows: Knit first 2sts, sl the first st over the 2nd
st and off the right needle, * yo, sl the first st over the yo and
off the needle, K1, sl the yo over the 2nd st and off the needle;
rep from * until all sts are bound off.
FINISHING: Sew sleeve seams to markers. Sew back
seam. Neck Ruffle: With right side facing, beg at underarm
seam, [pick up and K112 (124, 136) sts evenly across to next underarm
seam] twice – 224 (248, 272) sts. Place marker on needle to
indicate beg/end of rnd. Rnd 1: Knit. Rnd 2: * Yo, K1; rep from * around – 448
(496, 544) sts. Rnd 3: * K1, inc in next st; rep from * around
– 672, 744, 816) sts.
Bind off same as for sleeve ruffle. Weave in ends.
