Knitting Needles: 5.5mm [US 9].
Yarn needle.
GAUGE: 21 sts = 4"; 24 rows = 4" in
St st. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size needles to obtain
the gauge.
Cast on 182 sts. Row 1: K1, * [K2tog] 3 times, [yo, K1] 6 times,
[K2tog] 3 times; rep from * to last st; K1.
Row 2: Knit.
Rep Rows 1 and 2 until approximately 11" from beginning, ensuring
there is enough yarn to bind off with, end Row 2. Bind off in K.
FINISHING: Bring short ends together, then twist
one end one time. Sew short ends together in this position.
Weave in all loose ends.
