last st; K1.

Next Row: K1, * C6F; rep from * to last 7 sts; K7.

Next 4 Rows: Knit.

Rep last 6 rows 2 (3, 3) more times.

Now work across sts on needle and sts from
holder as follows:
Next Row: K7, [yo] twice, * K1, [yo] twice; rep from * to
last 7 sts; K7.
Next Row 2: K7, * C6F; rep from * to last 7 sts; K7.
Next 4 Rows: Knit.

Rep last 6 rows 1 (2, 3) more times. K2 rows. Bind off.

FINISHING-Neck Edging: With right side facing,
pick up and K64 (68, 72) sts around neckline. K 8 rows.
Bind off.

Ties: Cut two 24” strands; fold in half, forming a loop.
Draw the loop through the fabric from the wrong side
at a corner of the neck edging, then draw the yarn
ends through the loop and tighten. Rep on other corner
of neck edging. Trim ends.

Sew side seams for 4” from bottom edge, leaving
edges free above seam for armhole.
