Scarf measures approximately 4 1/2” wide x 38” long. MODA DEA™ “Bow Ties™”: 3 Balls No. 3933 Aruba, Art. R135 (1.76 ounce/64 yard ball). Knitting Needles: 10mm [US 15]. Yarn needle.
GAUGE: 9 sts = 4”; 21 rows = 4” in pat with 2 strands held together. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size needles to obtain the gauge.
NOTE: Use 2 strands held together throughout. SCARF Starting at side edge, cast on 87 sts. Row 1 (Wrong Side): K all sts. Row 2: Sl 1, K1, psso, K to last 2 sts; K2tog – 85 sts. Row 3: K all sts. Row 4: Sl 1, K1, psso, K to last 2 sts; K2tog – 83 sts. Row 5: K all sts. Row 6: Sl 1, K1, psso, K to last 2 sts; K2tog – 81 sts. Row 7: K all sts. Row 8: Sl 1, K1, psso, K to last 21 sts; bind off 3 sts, K to last 2 sts; K2tog. Row 9: K to bound off sts; cast on 3 sts, K to end – 79 sts. Rows 10-15: Rep Rows 2 and 3 three times – 73 sts at end of Row 15. Row 16: Sl 1, K1, psso, K to last 18 sts; bind off 3 sts, K to last 2 sts, K2tog. Row 17: Rep Row 9 – 71 sts.
