Knitting Needles: 5mm [US 8].
Yarn needle.

GAUGE: 17 sts = 4"; 22 rows = 4" in pat. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size needles to obtain the gauge.

RECTANGLE (Make 2): With CA, cast on 111 sts.

Row 1 (Right Side): K1, * [yo, sl 1, K1, psso] twice, K1, [K2tog, yo] twice, K1; rep from * across.

Row 2: P.

Row 3: K2, * yo, sl 1, K1, psso, yo, sl 1, K2tog, psso, yo, K2tog, yo **, K3; rep from * to last st, end at **; K2.

Row 4: P.

Rep Rows 1-4 for pat twice more. Cut CA. Join in CB and continue in pat until 14" from beg. Bind off loosely.

FINISHING: With right side facing, lay rectangles on flat surface. Label each rectangle’s cast-on (bottom), bind-off (top), left and right sides. Sew left edge of first rectangle to first 14" on the right cast-on edge of the second rectangle. Sew the left edge of the second rectangle to the first 14" on the right cast-on edge of the first rectangle.
