skip next 2 ch, sc in next ch, ch 5, skip next 3 ch **, sc in next
ch; rep from * around, end at **; join with a sl st in first sc
– 22 ch-5 lps.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, * sc in sc, ch 5, skip ch-5 lp; rep
from * around; join.
Rnd 3: Sl st in first 3 ch of ch-5 lp, ch 1, *
sc around both of the ch-5 lps of the last 2 rnds, ch 5, sc in next
sc, ch 5; rep from * around; join – 44 ch-5 lps.
Rnd 4: Rep Rnd 2.
Rnd 5: Sl st in first 3 ch of ch-5 lp, ch 1, *
sc around both of the ch-5 lps from the last 2 rnds, ch 5; rep from
* around; join.
Rep Rnds 4 and 5 until approximately 13" from beg (garment
may lengthen a bit when worn), end by working Rnd 5, do not fasten
off at end of last rnd.
Lower Edging: Ch 1, * (sc, ch 3, sc) all in sc,
work 4 sc around ch-5 lp of last rnd; rep from * around; join. Fasten
off.
NECK EDGING-Rnd 1: With right side facing and
smaller hook, attach yarn at neck edge; ch 1, work 78 sc evenly
spaced around neck; join in first sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 2, skip first st; * hdc around next
st from the front – fphdcmade; hdc around next st from the back
– bphdc made; rep from * to last st; fphdc;
join to top of ch-2.
Rnd 3: Rep Rnd 2.
Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in same ch as joining, * ch 3;
sc around next st from the front –
fpsc made; ch 3; sc around next st from the
